2025年3月14日に海外での発売が予定されている最新パック『Maze of the Master』の開封動画が海外のYu-Gi-Oh系youtuberのチャンネルにアップされました。

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned:
You can take 1 “Temple of the Kings”, or 1 Spell/Trap that mentions it,
from your Deck and either add it to your hand or send it to the GY.
You can only use this effect of “The Man with the Mark” once per turn.
While you control “Temple of the Kings”, this card and “Apophis” monsters
you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects.
“Temple of the Kings” you control cannot be destroyed by card effects.

今回の新規は上から下まで《王家の神殿》への依存度が凄まじいカードだらけなので、必然的にこのカードへの依存度もかなり高くなっています。

②③のおかげで一度揃ったら場持ちはかなり良さそうですね。

1 Level 10 or higher monster from your hand or Deck, while you control “Temple of the Kings”.
You can only Special Summon “Merciless Scorpion of Serket” once per turn this way.
Once per turn, during your Main Phase:
You can add 1 “Temple of the Kings”, or Spell that mentions it, from your Deck to your hand.
At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles an opponent’s monster:
You can destroy that opponent’s monster, and if you do,
this card gains ATK equal to half the destroyed monster’s original ATK.

《王家の神殿》への依存度が半端ないですが、その分、効果はかなり強く設定されていますね。特殊召喚する為のコストは基本的には《ラーの翼神竜》や《ガーディアン・スライム》に担当してもらう事になりそう？

墓地がしっかり肥えている必要がありますが、1つの効果で3アド稼ぐのはトンデモないですね。自身が持つ特殊召喚テキストで特殊召喚してる時点で2枚は落ちてそうなので効果が腐る事も無さそう。

特殊召喚とダメステ対応でフィールド・墓地のモンスターを除外しながら打点を上げるの流石に強そう！②による連撃は自分・相手のモンスターを問われていないので、《Merciless Scorpion of Serket》を特殊召喚してるだけで大体OK。①で打点が上がるので2回目の攻撃は結構痛いぞ……コレ。

《王家の神殿》への依存度は半端ないんですが、その依存度を許容するだけのサポートはもらえてる気がします。そもそも《王家の神殿》ってカード自体がかなりハイスペックのもあり、これは強さ的にも結構いいのでは？

個人的に《澱神アポピス》ってカードがかなり好きなので、テーマとして纏まりを持って組み上げられるようになるのは相当嬉しいです。
